The home of the Singapore airshow now houses thousands of beds at the Changi Exhibition Centre.

The facility is meant to help handle a surge in COVID-19 cases.

It can house 4,400 patients indoors and outdoors. But it can only handle cases with mild symptoms or those who don’t need intensive care.

The field hospital got its first patients on June 4.

Although it’s a temporary facility, designers had patients’ comfort in mind.
