China approves Argentine soy technology

China’s Agriculture Ministry recently approved the import and use of soybeans as a raw material using Bioceres’ Crop Solutions drought tolerance technology.

It’s a technology that gives crops greater tolerance to a lack of water and is hailed as a landmark development for agriculture. Bioceres is promoting the technology for farmers who have been suffering from harsh weather, while China’s decision paves the way for its entry into a key market.
