Airbnb works with Mexico City to lure more digital nomads

Since the coronavirus pandemic swept the globe, countries have been looking for ways to boost their economies.

Over the past year, Mexico City has attracted remote workers to relocate to the city.

And the online rental service, Airbnb, which lets property owners rent out their spaces to travelers looking for a place to stay, is capitalizing on this.

It recently struck a deal to draw more foreigners, mainly from the United States to the Mexican capital.

While the deal is making millions for property owners, some worry that local residents are being priced out of certain neighborhoods.
