IMF forecasts China’s economy to grow stronger than initially assessed

China’s economy is forecast to grow stronger than initially predicted – that’s one of the conclusions reached by the International Monetary Fund in its latest assessment. 

While China’s growth has been hampered by the after-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the IMF has just raised its growth estimates for the Chinese economy, expecting it to recover strongly over the next year.
