Russia says it has withdrawn from the city of Kherson. What does it mean for the conflict?
Russia’s Defense Minister announced on Wednesday the pullback of troops from the city of Kherson. Sergei Shoigu said the move is aimed at protecting soldiers as well as civilians.
The U.S. and its western allies remain skeptical about Moscow’s motives and have been urging peace talks between the two nations.
