Details of security guarantees and efforts to arrange peace talks continue to evolve. This, after U.S. President Donald Trump hosted talks in Washington on Monday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and several European leaders.

On Tuesday, Trump ruled out the possibility of sending U.S. troops to join any post-conflict European-led peacekeeping effort. Meanwhile, Russia has not committed to a bilateral leaders’ summit with Ukraine, though reports suggest that President Putin did offer to host a possible one-on-one with President Zelenskyy in Moscow.
