This year’s Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC, leaders’ meeting took place in Lima, Peru over the weekend.
China’s President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech where he called for more open and free trade and pushed for moving forward with a Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific. China is now Latin America’s second largest trading partner and a major source of investment.
