U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman met with Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng in China’s port city of Tianjin on Monday.
The talks come at a time of strained relations between the two global powers.
Beijing says the relationship is now in “stalemate” and faces serious challenges.
But is there is potential for cooperation?
