There were a number of new developments as the Ukraine crisis enters its sixth day. 

As fighting intensified, a top adviser to Ukraine’s president says the first round of talks with Russia has ended, but more talks could happen soon. Meanwhile discussions on Ukraine becoming a member of the European Union seem to be gaining steam. While Western economic and diplomatic pressure continue to mount on Russia. And the United Nations says more than 500-thousand Ukrainians have now fled the country, while warning the exodus could reach 4 million people.
