The 16th BRICS Summit in Russia is the first meeting of the group after expanding membership in January to Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates. Top of the agenda will be security, economy and finance and cultural and humanitarian ties under the theme of “Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security.”
