With so many big stories making news across the world, we spoke to the acclaimed economist and global analyst Jeffrey Sachs for his insight and perspective. We discussed China, its economy, and Beijing’s relations with Washington. We also got his views on the Trump presidency, efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

Jeffrey Sachs is Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University. He’s also President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and has served as a special advisor to three UN Secretaries-General.
