On August 6th 1945, the United States dropped the first ever nuclear weapon used in war on the Japanese city, Hiroshima. It caused enormous death and destruction. Three days later, the U.S. would drop another atomic bomb on Nagasaki. Now 80 years on, the historic events still echo through the ages.
