The United Nations celebrates 80 years. Many historians and political experts say the anniversary of the United Nations Charter should be celebrated by the international community despite pessimism over the challenges that it faces in today’s world.
In 1945, the UN’s founding document was signed in San Francisco, in the aftermath of World War II.
