The English Premier League is turning 25. Many of football’s top names play for its various teams and millions follow the EPL on television and social media making it the most popular football league in the world.
The success of the EPL goes way beyond its borders. The games are carried in 212 territories worldwide and watched by more than 12 million people, on average, per match. And, it enjoys an increasing fan base in countries like China.
