Holding talks on denuclearization and other regional issues, Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed DPRK Leader Kim Jong Un to Beijing. 

The visit is the first foreign trip for Kim as president and signals a diplomatic effort to resolve tensions on the Korean peninsula.
