The United States Congress passes a major piece of legislation that will have a huge impact for Americans. President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” has been approved after winning narrow majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

The mega-bill calls for tax cuts and increased spending for security and defense, but the controversial legislation will also see cuts to some vital social programs.
