U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza. The Israeli government has not responded to this claim, while Hamas says it is reviewing the proposal.
Meanwhile, Palestinians have come under regular attack while seeking aid at food distribution centers with more than 600 Palestinians reported killed by Israel Defense Forces since the end of May. The ongoing humanitarian crisis is dire as 2.1 million Gazans reel from a lack of food, clean water and medical supplies.
