Joining CCTV-America from San Francisco to discuss the revelations is Avner Gvaryahu, a former IDF soldier and a member of the Israeli human rights organization, Breaking the Silence. Also with the Heat in the studio is Laila El-Haddad. She is a Palestinian activist and journalist.
That’s what one soldier had to say about his reasons for breaking his silence. For more on an opposing view, the Heat spoke to Hen Mazzig from Tel Aviv. Hen was a former humanitarian officer in the Israeli Defense Forces and now he’s the Israel education director for the non-profit.
