The first round of talks to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, has kicked-off in Washington DC.

To discuss the day’s opening talks about what sort of issue Canada, Mexico and America are up against in renegotiating NAFTA:
- Celeste Drake, a foreign trade specialist for the AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in the U.S.
- Carlo Dade, director of the center on trade and investment policy, at the Canada West Foundation
- Joshua Meltzer, a senior fellow in the Global Economy and Development program at the Brookings Institution
- Arturo Sarukhan, a former Mexican Ambassador to the United States and now an international consultant
