Despite attempts to de-escalate tensions along the Ukrainian-Russian border, talks in Paris between Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France saw no breakthroughs.

Meanwhile in written documents delivered to Moscow, the United States and NATO made no concessions on demands that NATO never expand further into eastern Europe. So, what happens next?
