Ukraine remains under attack with fears that its conflict with Russia is about to get much worse.
Hundreds of civilians have been killed so far, and a major Russian convoy is poised to move on to the capital Kyiv.
Meanwhile, close to a million Ukrainians have now fled the country.
And, the United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Wednesday to condemn Russia’s actions in Ukraine. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres commented on the situation.
To discuss:
- Iuliia Mendel is a journalist and former press secretary to Ukrainian President Volodmyr Zelenskyy.
- Alexander Motyl is a professor of political science at Rutgers University.
- Vladimir Golstein is chair of the Department of Slavic Studies at Brown University and a commentator on Russian foreign policy.
- Victor Gao is Chair Professor at Soochow University.
