Thousands of legislators and advisers joined President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People for the annual political meetings known as Two Sessions. The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference or CPPCC opened on Friday and China’s top legislature known as The National People’s Congress opens Saturday. China’s economy, trade, diplomacy and the environment are expected to be part of the discussions.
