Paraguay hosted the 64th Summit of the Heads of State of Mercosur and Associated States.
Presidents and dignitaries from South America talked about addressing regional crises, enhancing relations as well as boosting domestic and international trade. While the gathering was overshadowed by the absence of Argentine President Javier Milei, the trade bloc welcomed Bolivia as its newest member.
