U.S. President Trump announced hefty tariffs on dozens of countries and territories on April second and, almost immediately, paused them for 90 days to give them time to negotiate. A promise of 90 deals in 90 days has been hard to achieve. A month from now, on July 9th, the levies will come into effect in 89 countries.
