Covid-19 continues to hammer the United States with the Delta variant causing a rise in cases and hospitalizations across the country. This week, President Biden announced a series of new steps that include a strict vaccine requirement for federal workers. The order will require them to show proof of vaccination or be subject to mandatory testing and mask wearing. Later in the show we will also address President Biden’s response to a surge in gun shooting deaths that has the U.S. on course to set new records this year. But we begin with the COVID-19 crisis.
